The Art Storehouse Association was set up in Spring 2006 in Warsaw by artists collaborating with the business named Art-Office, a patron of the Association. Members of the Art Storehouse represent several generations and come from a variety of communities. They present various artistic stances and are engaged in diverse fields of fine arts, including painting, sculpture, graphics, etc. However, their need to collaborate with and support one another makes them meet and arrange individual and group exhibitions, and, since lately, plein-air events.

He was born in 1954. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1976-1981 and earned a diploma in the chalcographic studio of Prof. Mieczysław Wejman and in painting under Prof. Jan Świderski in 1981. He established his own art studio, Katowice 1992-1993. He was awarded a doctoral degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 2001. An outstanding Polish painter and graphic artist, one of the most distinctive personalities in the Polish contemporary art. The only Polish artist who managed to become an international success before the fall of Communism (for instance, he took part in "documenta 7" in Kassel in 1982). He is also the only artist who became popular with all kinds of art consumers irrespective of earning recognition in professional circles. Disobedient and provocative, unsteady and unpredictable, full of devilish sense of humour, he continues to trigger extreme reactions and causes a big stir, even amongst artists of the youngest generation.
